He started his television career in the TRT News Center editing service. He was involved in the establishment of HBB TV during the period when private channels began to take part in the broadcasting life. After the establishment of Show TV, he took charge of the show TV editing service. Later, he worked in the Bureau of Show TV Ankara and worked as a news producer and broadcast director. During his time at the Show TV Ankara Office, he directed live broadcasts of political leaders such as Bülent Ecevit, Mesut Yilmaz, Tansu Çiller. Fatih Özen, who also worked in the ATV Ankara bureau for a short time, served as the editorial director of this institution for many years with the establishment of KanalB in 2004.
